IN MY HUMBLE OPINION
The Los Angeles Dodgers' problems go back some years back when they made Jim Tracy manager instead of Mike Scioscia. That's what happens when you have a corporation (Fox)
own a professional sports franchise instead of a private owner who's actually interested in how
the team does on the field.
In order for my beloved Oakland Raiders to get back to being the Raiders of old, Al Davis needs to step down. Obviously the game has passed him by. An NFL team can't be built through free-
agency. This might have been possible 10 or 20 years ago, but parody has made this way of running a team extinct. Every team in the league is so loaded with talent that they're one or two players or coaches away from a Super Bowl. The only way to do it these days is through the draft. Choose wisely, watch the salary cap, and have good player development staff.
